Thanks. Yep, powdered with a high gloss clear on top. They do look soft, even in person. The colors are quite muted so you can't even see the shine until you are right up close.

If you are attempting to install that on a Shimano coaster brake hub, it aint gonna happen. Even a semi thick powder coating on a Shimano sprocket will prevent the ring from seating.
