I had asked the SRAM cs rep if over - tightening the axle nuts could cause this, and he said he didn't know. But a few weeks ago I loosened them a little, and that seems to have solved the problem.

For me, as my go - to main mode of transport, the Dahon Vitesse frame seems perfect - no flex or sqeaks, comfortable for someone 6'4'', packs into an airline legal suitcase, rides like a big bike....

Check out the Pletscher 20" rack. The best rack I've seen. I've carried 45 pds. on it. Rock solid and super strong. It just takes a while to install, because it's very adjustable.
