The Vanilla's geometry does not warrant the third stay but has double top tubes so isn't quite a full on mixte... but wouldn't you want to be the kid riding this bike to school every day ?

Will guess that is an early 70's bike with that combination... my Peugeot was a Canadian model (c 1984) and had Peugeot deraileurs and Weinmann brakes.

Nice thing is that the Pug has standard...
