Even the 46 will be too much for most. I used to run 42/38 and now 44/39. I tried the 46 and it's a fairly useless ring, unless the course has a ton of pavement.

Skinsuit all the way... One does a ton more upper body movement in CX racing and the jersey doesn't stay put. It would ride up my back.

Pockets aren't needed; unzip the skinsuit's neck and stuff...

10 sp can be set up for 9sp via alternate cable clamping. All Shimano shifters can be set up for their rating - 1 this way.

Is that fork rated for a disc that large? I highly doubt that it is. Discs put huge stress on the fork, I would swap back to the 160. YMMV, but I wouldn't do the swap for the bigger rotor.

Shimano is going 10sp. Sram already has a 10sp MTB group. Also, the Sram Apex group has a 11-32 cassette. I would do a MTB der and a bigger cassette and leave the crank be.

The only problem with Reynolds is truing them. It annoying to rip a tub off to get to the nipples. I think you found a great deal; if I came across those, I would pick that set up for cross.
