Sadly, upon further inspection the frame has a small crack where the internal routing exits the top tube towards the rear brake. Upside is, all the parts make good spares for my DX-4000. Still a win...

Yeah I was a bit concerned about the fork at first. But no rippling behind the head tube and fork seems relatively straight. Seemed to ride ok no handed, I’ll call it a win.

interesting! I think you might be on the right track. From the pics, it does look like there are two small rivet holes on the head tube similar to where a Moto head badge would be.

Hi,

Currently rebuilding an 87 Panasonic DX4000 with a first gen 105 crankset. Curious on the the torque to reinstall. I was thinking 25ft lbs but wanted to double check. Thanks!
