The hub shifts perfectly, not a problem in the 4 months I've been using it. I did use synthetic grease in the outer bearings when I re-assembled the hub.
I guess I will clean the outside of the hub...

I found a PB-10 a few years ago, looks just like yours. I think it's an '89, I replaced the headset (was loose in the headtube), BB,crank and put new wheels on it. It's now a SS and rides great.
