Joe is painting my ‘79 Gios now and told me that it’s the same blue as Colnago blue only on the Gios it is over brick red primer and on the Colnago it is over a white base coat. Yours is the same...

You can adjust a Unicanitor mounted onto a two bolt Campagnolo Seatpost by lifting the sides of the saddle for bolt head access. Very hard to adjust the boots from behind the saddle.

Bob Hovey’s site lists 1.S.9 as having been stolen in the 70’s. I hope it’s out there somewhere and gets recovered.

My Masi #670 in 1975 has a twin plate fork crown. Roberto was one of the other Italians who came over with Mario and Faliero. Who would have brazed the first 25 frames?

Removing the valve cores

I remove the valve core with my granite juicy valve cap/remover tool and then squeeze in the Stans. Put the valve core back in and spin the wheel a bit. Then pump it up to 100 and see if it holds......

I humbly stand corrected. They are indeed Bocama Competition 83 lugs and not Haden Royal Sovereign lugs.

The 1978 Raleigh catalog describes them as Hayden hand profiled with window cutouts....
