EDIT: Looks like the 10 speed GRX uses the 11 speed shimano pull ratio like Tiagra...

the headset that came with the frame is obviously not correct (bottom bearing physically larger than head tube) so I don't know that it would be beneficial

Just bought a 2010 cyclocross 5/CAAD8 frame and pulled the headset apart and it seems it might be the wrong type. The bottom bearing wasn't inside the head tube at all and looks like it's the wrong...
