According to their site the ratchet straps can't be replaced (although the do sell replacement sway straps), so I'd have to buy a new set of arms at $26 each.

I can second that. Shutting off JavaScript on my iPhone stopped the problem. It's not optimal, but I can still access the vast majority of BF functionality without the ads taking over.
