Seeking a logical explanation for why a bicycle equipped with a fixed gear can gofaster than a bicycle with a freewheel .
both have same ratio 💋 keeping it simple 45x15. Not sure of the math pretty...

I use Lestoil; not only does it clean it also lubricates.
But as Pigiron pointed out removal is the way to go.
It is the only way to really check chain wear as well.
