I run tubes in my fat bike. I change my tires from Jumbo Jim’s to 45 North Dillinger 5 with studs often so dealing with sealant is too much. I’m 160 pounds and run as low as 3psi without issue.

I would save yourself a few bucks and get the single side. That’s what I have and it’s honestly all you need unless your focused on structured training that involves knowing the power from both legs.

In the winter I’ll typically Zwift on weeknights after work and ride outside on weekends. Zwift helps keep my fitness up and riding outside keeps me mentally healthy.

the CF Checkpoint has what Trek calls carbon armor on the down tube to protect the frame. Looks kind of like a plastic mud guard and I'm sure this is what the lbs is referring to.

Maybe they have weak hands. I have no problem squeezing the bottle. They fit the cage better than the old style and keep water cool for a long time. I would recommend trying one.
