I agree with this ^. While I think the shape is important, definitely getting accustomed to the riding position in a consistent manner helps alleviate sit bone pain.

Having tried 6700 and raced with 5800, I have to say 5800 is excellent (bombproof actually)! Pair it with great cables and you have a group that will shift reliably and quickly.
