Really appreciate all of the input! Too bad it most likely doesn't have the original badge, but still a fun curiosity for me. I love old Schwinns, haha. It really is a phenomenal, smooth riding...

I just don't understand because as I'm to believe there never was a 12.2 in the Chicago line up. The serial number puts it as a 1980, that's for sure. I just don't know why there would be a Japanese...

I'm still confused! I know badges are easy to replace, especially when the screws line up. I just think the "LE TOUR 12.2" badge on the top tube is way too good to be a water transfer or repro.......
