My favorite shop is trek and Cannondale. They're close and good to work with. I've also got a specialized shop nearby. We have a giant shop as well, but it's about 20 mins away.

Yeah, it was the derailer that was making noise. I figured it might be because the cables to the shifter weren't adjusted properly...it sounded as though it was almost thinking about trying to shift...
