Yep like impreza said. Chinese carbon 88m laced to 32h novatec I got them for around $500 as a wheelset. They ride super sweet.

Yeah it really sucks that Specialized doesn't do anything about this. Btw. I have the 2011 Rockhopper with the 9 gear cassette to clear that up.
