I thought that was the way easiest way to take it off. IIRC the last time I took one off (about 6 yrs ago) I went at it with a utility knife and it was hard to cut though.

I ride with a couple that having matching his and hers BMCs (well except hers is a 49cm and his is 60+cm). They are sweet rides... massive chain stays.
