Half decaf black tea, quarter water, quarter cranberry juice, tsp salt. I've dubbed it the Salty Palmer. Works like a charm. Would rather drink something wet than have to chew something dry. YMMV.

FTR, I quit drinking entirely almost 5 years ago. Also eat much less red meat. Haven't seen gout again in that time. Absolutely worth it.
