Shimano front shifting is indexed, Campagnolo is not, that requires a little more time when you setup a shimano bike, because campy will work regardless of the adjustment as it's a multi-click...

They're made by Campagnolo after the Ksyrium, so you get campy quality with Mavic design (big alu spokes, machined rims, big colorful stickers). A bit heavy, probably rock solid.
