I use paraffin oil to clean all bearings, chains and other parts that require lubricating grease. Any residue left over will not break down any grease applied after cleaning.

I am a big fan of Suntour. The thing that separates Cyclone, or Superbe for that matter, from the others mentioned is the jewel like workmanship. The polished surfaces shine like the "Sun!"
