Sorry, I hadn't clicked through to the segment leaderboard and never realized they removed the indicator from the ride level. Could be pedantic and point out that ftp testing takes 5% off 20 minutes...

every corner is different. the surfaces are different. there's a cobblestone crosswalk. There's a rain culvert. The outside is sandy in turns 3 and 4 but not 1 or 2.

The mechanics are the same....

Even accepted at face value, I'm still unclear which mechanic of cornering is changed. Can't lean as far, but you still weight the outside, countersteer, try to apex to give the widest corner, etc....

how much less weight is on the bike tires on corner on a smooth grade? Like 7%.

in a non-argumentative way I am honestly curious wtf you are talking about. given that a corner on a 5% decline is still 95% flat I feel like the mechanics of turning remain pretty much the same.

cornering on a descent is incredibly different than in a flat race or crit corner.

sure, the mechanics might be the same, but mentally railing a corner on a descent where you can't always see...
