The seller can always sell it to the second highest bidder. It's really not hard to relist an item and recoup any kind of fees. I'd hate to see this guy flush $150-$200 down the crapper.

How on earth is it cheaper? Your bike on BD cost at least $795 shipped. The sputnik is $570 shipped. Last time I checked 795-570 is 225. The sputnik has a better frame as well.

I'd strip every single part and piece off that bike. Degrease-Clean-Repeat as many times until everything looks good. Take some fine steel wool to the rust. Get some new hoods for those brakes....
