I'm not sure on the price, but I'm not a fan at all of grip shifts. Make sure you try it out. I've got a 20 plus year old rockhopper that I love. They last a long time.

That way your money is not going out of the country, you are not paying sales tax if applicable, and you are likely to get a lot more bike for your money.
