That was the problem. The factories hired people with no welding experience and sold the bikes without testing the frames first. Being a welder there was no or little welding penetration of the metal...

The frame is fine the but wheel is in crooked or was not centered when built. The hole for the brake should centered on the center rib on the tire. Roger

That is not a floor stand but a display stand (kick stand) for new bikes. Not for working on bikes. The ALDI sold stand is about the cheapest worth having. Roger
