Almost....Campy chains are narrower than the others and the teeth on some non-Campy rings are too wide.

Understood, but one could stay with 11 speed (personally, I'm not a fan of 12)...and a 34T is a pretty big cog. How low are touring...

I think the point is that Campy has always had a niche market. I think in terms of paying customers, it’s always been a minority looking for Campy...and that minority has typically been the racing...
