Well, I think the frame merits an upgrade someday but as of right now, I don't know if its worth the complete upgrade just for indexed shifting...

congrats on quitting. had my last 2 months ago and it was terribly hard. 1200 caloric intake is pretty low... as long as you arent binge eating in place of lighting up. i've actually lost weight...
