yeah it's alot of up and down in my area... i'm branching out more and more though looking for some more steady climbs... the 15-18% grades are not very fun... i prefer something more steady... ;)

looks like a crank arm needed a bit of tightening, and the left pedal was a bit loose as well... greased up both pedals, and tightened that crank arm up...

What do you guys use to lube pedals...? It's only seeming to come from the left side so maybe it is the pedal. It's very annoying for sure.

Hey guys, i have a clicking noise in my crank area on the downstroke of the left pedal under load... i get a "click" when the crank arm makes a revolution...

it's not all the time, and hardly ever...

i guess i could have just googled up the conversion... looks like 22" is the equivalent... Trek looks like they make a 21.5"...

when i plug up the USB my computer all of a sudden does not recognize the Edge...

it goes through it's start up process and then turns on, whereas it never did this before...

Took my bike into the shop today and had him adjust FD & RD. he told me to try and avoid the 2 smaller in the small front and the two larger rear with the large front.

Shifts great and no noise...

i'm getting chain rub on the FD cage when using the smaller inside ring and the 2 smallest rings in the rear... are you not...

Yeah it's a learning curve for sure. I climbed 2000 feet today which is about 8 or 900 more than I've done on any other ride. It certainly is a sense of accomplishment when you reach the top.

Gotta agree with this guy. I've only had a triple for a month and I HATE it. Never shifts properly or smoothly.

Stick with the compact and get the larger rear cog.
