I wish I had room to cut a bit off my bars. I have the shifters and levers pushed is as far towards the center as I can to make room for my bar ends, so there's no room to cut off.

Bar ends are a must have. I use them far more than holding on the grips. Enjoy, I only have 140 miles so far on my Escape and love it.
