Not if the lighter weight rim is also a shallower/less aerodynamic rim. In that case, you've just made your bike slower in most scenarios (barring the steepest hill climbs)..

Really nice actually. BB stiffness is exceptional. In comparison the head tube is not quite as rigid, the fork crown and legs on the other hand are VERY stiff, making for a very nice front end.

That's not a valve extender, it's the actual valve stem. The extender screws directly int the stem base on the new 320tpi EVO CX tubs. I do need a new front tire tp match the rear valve stem though...
