Hmm. Interesting. You probably have a 1989 Colorado there. I have a 91 model year with a 90 date stamp. Yours is probably the first year that design model was made. Post a pic so we can compare....

Yeah, it's likely a 91. It's black with the webbing/spackle, the front forks are straight, black. I checked the plate...
