The name on the frame is allways the surname of the 1st owner for whom the frame was built.
Seeing the lugs and seatstaycaps i can rule out at least G.Derycke as the builder, that leaves only 2...

Hi mate, this frame was built by Georges Derycke(RIP) from Belgiu in aprox. 1977/1978
He was one of the Master framebuilders who produced only Handmade Frames for Fernand Kessels.

i have 2 of The Team Marc VRD (zeepentrale) bikes from Marc Dierickx and Patrick sercu, both confirmed by Marc Janssens (employee 1981-1992)

It happens to be a belgian frame with wrong fork, the frame was built by the father of Jan Weymans, a wellrespected framebuilder here, i asked him to and he told me the frame was built in 1970

What size seat post does it take? Are the tubes mitred? An overall picture and one of the rear dropout would be appreciated. With that collection, I'm surprised you can't provide a definitive answer...
