Based on the details frame geometry i would say it's a 80's Tri frame so no braze on's. Most sport or even race bikes would have some braze on or dropout mount points. So god spot point Mr. 66.

To make things work just add a 2mm drive side washer then adjust the shifters rest to work. I have done s bunch Shimano stuff this way seems to work just fine if the frame is good
