I put yellow SKS (I think) fenders on my blue Trek 750 hybrid and it has really jazzed up the look and I believe helps with make me more visible to traffic on the way to bike paths.

Giro Savant, a helmet saved my life last August. They have an XL that will fit you. Most comfortable helmet I have ever had. Not sure about measurements but a 7 5/8 fedora is a good fit for me.
