Yup. Best options that are similar would be the Sirrus X, Trek FX4, possibly the Jamis Sequel. I’m leaning towards the Sirrus X whenever dealers finally start getting stock again.

Similar in what way? Rigid fork with a wider tire? Giant Toughroad SLR? Jamis sequel? The Sirrus X is an awesome bike, but is also kind of a black sheep in that it is fairly unique.

Giant still seems to have stock of the 2017s. Both the SLR1 and SLR2 are other in stock or have "limited stock" on the Giant website. If you were waiting on the 2018s then check on the 2017s.
