My FSX bike quick release skewers are loosening up when riding.

This is what I ended up with...

Bike Frame - Trek 830 Antelope 22" - Dimpled the chain stays for more wheel clearance. Dropouts were already spaced to 135mm. Was not straight and I had to reset after dimpling.

However, when I say loose, I can pass the wheel through the tire with no effort.

To me, it seems to be about 1/2" too large.

From what I read the rear dropouts should have originally been 126mm.

Will probably go with 26 wheels. Sounds like thats what I will need to keep brake headaches at a minimum, and to fit large...
