the dirt drop is better if you need the bars up high. It'll extend as the crow flies and likely feel stiffer because you don't have as much quill showing. plus i think they're cool

well i like it. Its more interesting than another wimpy de rosa or masi or whatever... you can do way more with it as well. i too didn't like sloping top tubes, but functionally on mixed terrain...

#1: Tire Clearance. a daily grinder bike should at least be able to fit a 35 or above in my book....

sometimes i put my hands in the middle of my bar to mimic a drop bar.. it's kind of like your body is making a big c shape because the pedals are so far forward of the saddle. not a good position.
