I bought a used bike, owner threw in a set of Garmin Vector 3 peddles.
I was able to add Garmin Connect app to phone and "blueooth" pair up to peddles, so they work.

I found a "Walmart Bike" Kent Saracino hardtail MTB that will serve as a great doner-bike for the aluminum 26 frame....

I went with two 24" 36H Alex DX32 rims (507x32).
32mm inside diameter is not as wide as I would have liked, but It will work OK for my purpose and price was good.
