How much does the crankset & cables add to the total weight?

Just curious.

I have a T-Mobile Giant, semi built. Full Ultegra minus the cranks(didn't ship with everything else) and the cables.

Rich now she weighs in at 13.75 pounds sans...

Thanks for the feedback! I certainly want to use a more modern frame that was built for 700c wheels. Beyond that, I just wonder with the modern components, how 'competetive' it is on the Sunday rides...

I flip through bikes pretty quick but I manage to recycle my money like Owen said. We even seem to have shared a few bikes. Rad. I think it would be a crime to ride just one bike. No trust fund....
