Crank arm - left - square taper question

Hi, I've determined I need to replace the left crank arm on my son's bike. Even after tightening to correct tightness, it keeps coming loose - so rounded off.

On his crank arm it is stamped LASCO....

Seems word has got round that I just go on and on about cycling 50-80 miles a week and radically changing diet and eliminating processed carbs and sweet tea/sodas while also limiting portions....

My Salsa Casseroll is a steel framed bike. I'm used to aluminum - and I know steel is more flexy.

Ok, this hub is relatively easy to center as it is a horizontal dropout. I just roll it forward on my foot to push it all the way back in the dropout - then use the quick release.
