TRAIL riding is riding your bike on the trails. Mostly thought of as Cross country riding.
TRIALS is a sturdier bike that people do all that fancy crap

I didnt have any oil in my fork from it not working right, I toped it off with ATF and now it works just fine.

I'd recommend you settle for no less than the 4300.
the 3900 is ok for starters, but the 4300 has more room for upgrades (rear disk mounts) and a better frame.
