I have 3 bikes with 650b conversions. A 175, 172.5 and 170 crank on the respective bikes. I really dont notice pedal strike issues on any of them. The 175 is on a px10.

the frame is fairly light straight guage chromoloy. I will change the bars out if i keep it. Btw you can fit a 650b by 38 in it no problem.

Simplex rear drop outs. 28mm seat tube and it says Peugeot but i think its a repaint. Weight was a hair over 24lbs. Got it cheap and it has campy crank, brakes, derailleurs, pedals and headset....
