Fizik Microtex is a nice thin tape, but the bar plugs that come with it are a total pain in the ass. I can never get them to fit inside the bars.

The 120mm stem could be on there for any number of reasons (aesthetics, absence of hoods, previous owner had long arms, etc.). Use the stem that puts the bars where you want/need them.

Most people start bouncing on the saddle when they hit uncomfortably high cadences. You'll start bouncing and either panic and lose control of the bike or get bucked off.

Yeah I don't get it either. I've gotten used to it on my All-City though and reaching the bottle while riding is no problem. On especially hot days or when I'm doing long rides without planned water...
