Oh! I missed that that was a Multi-Track. Good get. I have a MT 750 and rides way nicer that you'd think it should. They are fabulous bikes.

I've seen the same thing. I hear of people getting awesome deals like Trek 7xx bikes at the thrift store for $40 but around here any time I've stepped in one to have a look, I mostly see el cheapos...

I'm keeping my eyes open for one of those Multitracks - sweet bikes! Ideally, it would be a cheap frame set + components, as I recently found a nice wheelset to set aside for the future project.
