148 miles in one day minus all the elevation gain would be a total push for me. You throw in about a 8000+ feet of actual climbing... I'd literally be dead.

Yeah. But you know what? I've got an indoor job and mostly it doesn't effect me... and the rain doesn't stop me from riding. True, the rain can be a deterrent but with the right gear it's a lame...

I rode 700x32s all the way to Easton from Rattle Snake. I checked it out at the Cle Elum entrance and I wouldn't try it heading east beyond that point. Gravel really gets loose.
