I’m finding claris to be 240ish, sora to be $350...

I’m finding claris to be 240ish, sora to be $350 ish and 5800 used is about $450. $350 is my absolute limit for a groupset as far as price goes.

Can you direct me to where i’d be able to find 5700/5800 for cheap. It seems on ebay, most of the groupsets being sold are out of my budget by $100-200.

Would putting drop extensions inside the brakes on the bars be a decent option. I would plan on getting a longer stem and more angled saddle to compensate for it.

Ill defiantly look into them, thanks for the help!

Edit: I like the varied hand positions they seem to offer, however the sweep on the bars might throw off my posture and weight might be a concern.
