It's fine that you don't use or like them but don't try to paint a picture...

Well, I think there is that potential if the cleat is set wrong but the flip side is that, if the cleat is set right, there is less chance than with platforms.

If my main goal is riding I use a dual purpose pedal (clipless/platform) and a cleated shoe that also has a tread. I can walk and clip in with them.
