Yeah. The thing here though is that I was landing on the cleat when coming to a stop (and thus slipping) before finding out that I had to land on the back of the shoe which has rubber on it.

Well, I'm in Alabama, so when it snows (and it has this year, a lot), there is no salt, and no equipment to remove snow. So you just wait for the snow to melt, for weeks upon weeks.
