Yes, I have a pad on the bottom and then 2 small dog beds - 1 nested inside the other. It takes most of the shock / bouncing out of the ride for her and makes her very comfortable. :thumb:

I never really thought too much about climbing technique. I climb in the saddle and keep my cadence in the 70-80 range in whatever gear allows it. When I run out of steam I get off and push. :)
