Agreed, I just wen t out riding with a friend yesterday. He rode my Santa Cruz Blur and I rode the Monkey and on loop 2 swe swapped bikes and man is the monkey just fun on signle track.

I just drilled a hole in the shelf and used a longer bolt and washer on the monfotto mounting plate. If you remove the little c clip from the stock mounting bolt on the plate it comes right out.

Hmm, it might be because of the constant load on the drive train when on the trainer. Try letting of a little right before the shift and see if that helps.
