This one does have a bit of actually been raced vibe to it. As for the frame the market is way down so I would say $250-300 for the frame and fork. Do mention this is ligit standards race bike.

Based on the details frame geometry i would say it's a 80's Tri frame so no braze on's. Most sport or even race bikes would have some braze on or dropout mount points. So god spot point Mr. 66.

I will say that the nicer Raliegh USA bikes MTB and road and are under valued there top stuff were basically the best retail bikes sold in the 80's and 90's.

To make things work just add a 2mm drive side washer then adjust the shifters rest to work. I have done s bunch Shimano stuff this way seems to work just fine if the frame is good

I would agree considering how nice these are the original paint was not great. Compared to the the top end Japan bikes, Raliegh USA and Schwinn stuff the paint kinda sucked on theses.

I would suggest you go a late 70's Suntour Vx group since they work better and were likely what came on the bike originally. They did actually make black and silver Nishiki branded version briefly...
