Update-

So as suggested, I’ve changed the bar tape to black and changed the seat post to chrome. Much improvement! Next are the Saddle and the pedals! Thanks all for the help!

I would strongly encourage you to consider a steel frame bike. It will give you a much better ride comfort wise. Especially since you’re not looking to race.

I can get a new 105 groupset from Merlin Cycles for under 500 bucks for the new R7000 series.
